The photos that are on this page shows how Easy it is to mount the DX-1 to A ladder on the back of the motor home. The antennea uses a screw on base that you screw on the pipe that is permenantly mounted to the ladder. With the 2 adjustable mounting brackets the mount can be used on any size ladder. You can install and remove the antenna when you get to a location you think would be good for Ham/ Shortwave Use. You can get the parts to make the ladder mount at any Lowe's or Home Depot. Make sure that you have a good ground on the ladder or to a location on the motor home fram or the DX-1 Won't work with a antenna tunner. Remember, Grounding is inportant!
